There are a few things you should know if your planning on travelling to Mexico in your personal automobile.

Mexico Tourist Auto Insurance can be written for a term of one day to one year.

Mexico Liability Insurance is a legal requirement.  We recommend a limit equal to at least $300,000 CSL.  Higher limits are available as well.

Various coverages are available on a Mexico Tourist Auto policy through the Mexican Insurance carriers we write through. All of our carriers are rated A- or better by A M Best.

In the event of a claim, all claims must be made while still in Mexico.  You do have the option to have the vehicle repaired in the United States, but the initial claim must be made within Mexico.
