The Fort Worth Star Telegram reports that the Texas Western Model Railroad club layout is moving to the Forest Hill Community Center in Forest Hill, Texas. The layout includes more than 1,000 freight and passenger cars and a miniature downtown Fort Worth and Fort Worth stockyards.
It will take at least a year for the club to prepare the layout's new home.
The City of Forest Hill will be opening a new convention center in Septermber of 2013 and said the club is part of its tourism plan.
